I have been going to Ortho Prime physical therapy for about six weeks. I was in terrible pain when I first started going and extremely tired, I have been significantly improving overtime. I'm feeling more energetic, happier, and more capable. I'm doing things that I haven't been able to do in years. I'm still not out of the weeds yet, but I am looking forward to continuing my care with Dr. Upen. The office is very clean and uplifting. I am being heard and worked with on an individual basis. I’ve learned through a running community I belong to how important it is to choose the right physical therapist. I’ve seen people spend significant time and money with PTs who followed a standard path that didn’t help — and sometimes made things worse. Not all physical therapists approach evaluation and treatment the same way. I saw Dr. Upen for cervical radiculopathy. Even though he was out-of-network for me, he was willing to work with me and took the time to perform a careful assessment rather than immediately starting a generic protocol. During the evaluation he identified something that had been missed — biceps tendinopathy contributing to my symptoms. That distinction turned out to be critical in determining the correct treatment approach. The hands-on work he performed and the exercises he prescribed were targeted and specific. They made sense for my condition and I began improving quickly. His ability to look beyond the obvious issue and address the underlying contributors made a real difference in my recovery. In my experience, his strength is not just treatment but accurate assessment. If you are dealing with a complicated or stubborn injury, that matters. Scheduling was easy, appointments were flexible, and Dr. Upen took time to explain everything in detail. He makes sure to give you a detailed program for continuing your exercises and training at home. He is very responsive to your functional changes and complaints and adjusts the intensity of the treatment. I had a severe neck pain and I was extremely exhausted from trying quite a few things but nothing seemed to be working until I reached out to these guys and that was the best thing I did instead of trying it on my own. He not only explained me the exact cause of the pain but also explained me the whole neck anatomy :) quite impressed by his expertise and enthusiasm to help me out and fix my neck pain.. Reached out to ortho prime physical therapy. Had work on my foot back and neck. The results are phenomenal. The back issue is just about gone we think. And a foot‘s got more mobility to it. I highly recommend this place.

Great first experience, they didn't take my insurance yet the doctor still insisted on evaluating me. The doctor was great at explaining what the problem with my knee was. He gave me a couple exercises and explained why they would help. Overall it was great communication, would definitely recommend this for anyone that needs physical therapy.

I had to get physical therapy for my degerated spine disease. When I went there I was in pain. I didn't have the insurance they took but he seen me anyway and gave me somethings to work on that would help me until I could get to him. He worked with my schedule. Me being a woman he made sure I was comfortable with everything he had to do and that's was important. I was walking with a limp and the therapy he gave me corrected it.
